Diagnose disease correctly and have effective management More than 100 pathogens are known to affect soybean crop, about 35 of these are economically important. Pathogens like fungi, bacteria, viruses, phytoplasma, spiroplasma and nematodes can cause disease in soybean. Annual yield losses in soybean due to diseases are in the tune of 12% of total production. Yield losses can be minimised by proper diagnosis and effective management.
